I was informed that the Prophet ﷺ did not pass away until much of his prayer was performed while sitting.
أخبرت أن النبي الله ﷺ لم يمت حتى كان كثير من صلاته وهو جالس.
Reported by Muslim in "The Travelers" (116/732), from the hadith of Ibn Jurayj, who said, Uthman bin Abu Sulayman informed me that Abu Salama bin Abdul-Rahman informed him that Ayesha informed him, and he mentioned it.
