The Prophet ﷺ said, "The best prayer is the one with the longest standing."
أن النبي ﷺ قال: أفضل الصلاة طول القنوت.
Muslim narrated it in the Book of the Traveler's Prayer (756) from the hadith of Abu Zubayr, from Jabir, as mentioned. He also narrated it through Abu Sufyan, from Jabir, who said, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was asked, "Which prayer is best?" He said, "The one with the longest qunut." Nawawi said, what is meant by qunut here is standing, according to the agreement of the scholars as far as I know.I say, what is intended here is the night prayer, because the obligatory prayer is preferably kept brief.
