Abdullah bin Umar reported,
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ performed itikaf during the last ten days of Ramadan, and a tent of palm-leaf matting was set up for him inside the mosque. One day he put his head out and said, "The one who prays is in private conversation with his Lord 
, so let each of you consider what he says to his Lord, and do not raise your voices over one another in recitation."

Hasanعن ابن عمر قال
اعتكف رسول الله ﷺ في العشر الأواخر من رمضان، فاتخذ له فيه بيت من سقف، قال: فأخرج رأسه ذات يوم فقال: إن المصلي يناجي ربه عز وجل فلينظر أحدكم بما يناجي ربه، ولا يجهر بعضكم على بعض بالقراءة.
Imam Ahmad (5349) narrated it from Attab, who said, "Abu Hamza, that is Sukari, narrated to us, from Ibn Abu Layla, from Sadaqa Makki, from Ibn Umar," and he mentioned it. Bazzar also narrated it in Kashf Astar (726), and Ibn Khuzayma in his Sahih (2237), both of them through the route of Ibn Abu Layla with the same chain. Ibn Abu Layla is Muhammad bin Abdul-Rahman bin Abu Layla, whose memory was poor, except that he was corroborated. Imam Ahmad (4928) narrated it through another route from Mamar, from Sadaqa Makki with the same chain, and Mamar is Ibn Rashid Sanani.As for Sadaqa, Ibn Khuzayma said he is Ibn Yasar, that is, Jazari, who is trustworthy, but no one stated explicitly that he heard from Ibn Umar. Hafiz placed him in the fourth category in Taqrib. He died at the beginning of the caliphate of Banu Abbas, which was in the year one hundred and thirty two, that is, after the hundred mark. Abdullah bin Umar died in the year seventy three, which means there were fifty nine years between their two deaths. Their meeting would be possible if we knew the age of Sadaqa bin Yasar at the time of his death.
