I used to hear the recitation of the Prophet ﷺ at night while I was on my roofed shelter.
كنت أسمع قراءة النبي ﷺ باليل، وأنا على عريشي.
Nasai (1013), Ibn Majah (1349), Tirmidhi in "Shamail" (318), and Ahmad (26905) all narrated it from the hadith of Waki, who said, Misar bin Kidam narrated to us, from Abu Ala Abdi, from Yahya bin Jadah, from Umm Hani, and he mentioned it. Its chain is hasan because of Abu Ala Abdi, who is Hilal bin Khabab, for his hadith is hasan.Ahmad (26894) also narrated it through another route from Hilal bin Khabab, who said, Mujahid and I stayed with Yahya bin Jadah, the son of Umm Hani, and he narrated to us from Umm Hani, who said (and he mentioned the hadith), adding to it, "and that was at the Kaaba."
