The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When one of you is praying, he must not let anyone pass in front of him. If the person refuses, let him fight him, for he has a devil-companion with him."
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال: إذا كان أحدكم يصلي فلا يدع أحدا يمر بين يديه، فإن أبي فليقاتله، فإن معه القرين.
Muslim narrated it in the book of Prayer (506) from Harun bin Abdullah and Muhammad bin Rafi, both of them from Muhammad bin Ismail bin Abu Fudayk. H And from Ishaq bin Ibrahim, who said, Abu Bakr Hanafi informed us, both of them, meaning Ibn Abu Fudayk and Abu Bakr Hanafi, from Dahhak bin Uthman, from Sadaqah bin Yasar, from Abdullah bin Umar, and he related the hadith in the same manner.Ibn Khuzayma narrated it (800), and from him Ibn Hibban (2362), from Muhammad bin Bashshar Bundar, from Abu Bakr Hanafi, with the same wording, and in it, "Do not pray except toward a sutrah."As for what Hasan bin Dawud Munkadiri narrated, from Ibn Abu Fudayk, from Dahhak, adding in it, "for with him is Uzza," this is anomalous, for although Munkadiri is not problematic, he alone transmitted this addition.Ibn Majah narrated it (955) from Harun bin Abdullah Hammal and Hasan bin Dawud Munkadiri, both of them from Ibn Abu Fudayk, with the same chain.
