Commentary
Zia-ur-Rahman Azami
Nasai narrated it in Amal al-Yawm wal-Layla (613) from Muhammad bin Abdul-Ala, who said, Mutamir narrated to us, from his father, from Anas, and he related the same. Bayhaqi also transmitted it through this same route in Al-Asma wal-Sifat (218). There are very many hadiths on this subject, which will come in their proper places, if Allah wills.
