The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Between every two calls to prayer there is a prayer, between every two calls to prayer there is a prayer, between every two calls to prayer there is a prayer, for whoever wishes."
قال رسول الله ﷺ: عند كل أذانين صلاة، عند كل أذانين صلاة، عند كل أذانين صلاة لمن شاء.
Imam Ahmad (20574) narrated it from Yazid (that is, Ibn Harun), who said, Jareeri and Kahmas informed us, from Abdullah bin Burayda, from Abdullah bin Mughafal, who said, and then he mentioned it. Its chain of transmission is sahih.As for what appears in some narrations as "one time," such as with Ahmad (16790), and in some as "two times," such as with Abu Dawud (1285), this is an abridgment by some of the narrators, or it should be understood as referring to repeated occurrences.The addition made by Hayan bin Abdullah, from Abdullah bin Burayda, "except Maghrib," is daif. Bayhaqi (2/474) and others narrated it, and Hafiz declared it daif in Talkhis (506).
