Abu Hurairah reported,
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Allah 
said, 'I am ar-Rahman, and this is the womb (rahim). I have derived its name from My own name. Whoever maintains its ties, I will maintain ties with him, and whoever severs it, I will sever ties with him,'" and he cut him off.

Hasanعن أبي هريرة قال
قال رسول الله ﷺ: قال الله عز وجل: أنا الرحمن، وهي الرحم شققت لها اسما من اسمي، من يصلها أصله، ومن يقطعها أقطعه، فأبته.
Imam Ahmad narrated it (10469) from Yazid, who said, Muhammad informed us, from Abu Salama, from Abu Hurairah, who related it.Its chain of transmission is hasan because of Muhammad bin Amr bin Alqama Laythi, for his hadith is hasan.Hakim narrated it through this route (4/157) and said, "Sahih according to the criterion of Muslim."Bukhari narrated it (5988) through another route from Abu Hurairah, from the Prophet ﷺ, who said, "The womb is a branch from the Rahman, so Allah said, 'Whoever maintains ties with you, I maintain ties with him, and whoever severs ties with you, I sever ties with him.'"It has corroborating narrations mentioned in the book on Piety and Kinship.As for his saying "shijnah," with a damma on the shin and a sukun on the jim, it means a branch springing from the bough of a tree, and from this comes the expression "a tangled tree" (shajar mutashajjin), said when its branches intertwine with one another.
