Abu Saeed Khudri reported,

He heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "Shall I guide you to something by which Allah erases sins and increases good deeds?"They replied, "Of course, Messenger of Allah."He said, "Performing ablution thoroughly despite difficult circumstances, taking many steps to the mosques, and waiting for the next prayer after completing one. There is no man among you who leaves his house in a state of purity, prays the congregational prayer with the Muslims, then sits in the mosque awaiting the next prayer, except that the angel says, 'Allah, forgive him. Allah, have mercy on him.'When you stand for prayer, straighten your rows, align them, and close the gaps, for I see you from behind my back. When your imam says, 'Allah is the Greatest,' say, 'Allah is the Greatest.' When he bows, bow with him. When he says, 'Allah hears the one who praises Him,' say, 'Allah, our Lord, all praise belongs to You.'The best of the men's rows is the front row, and the worst is the last. The best of the women's rows is the last, and the worst is the front. Women, when the men prostrate, lower your gaze so that you do not see the men's private parts due to the tightness of their garments."

عن أبي سعيد الخدري

أنه سمع رسول الله ﷺ يقول: ألا أدلكم على شيء يكفر الله به الخطايا، ويزيد في الحسنات؟ قالوا: بلي يا رسول الله، قال: إسباغ الوضوء في المكاره، وكثرة الخطى إلى المساجد، وانتظار الصلاة بعد الصلاة، ما منكم من رجل يخرج من بيته متطهرا فيصلي مع المسلمين الصلاة الجامعة، ثم يجلس في المسجد ينتظر الصلاة الأخرى إلا الملك يقول: اللهم اغفر له، اللهم ارحمه، فإذا قمتم إلى الصلاة فأعدلوا صفوفكم وأقيموا، وسدوا الفرج، فإني أراكم من وراء ظهري، فإذا قال إمامكم: الله أكبر، فقولوا: الله أكبر، وإذا ركع فاركعوا، وإذا قال: سمع الله لمن حمده، فقولوا: اللهم ربنا لك الحمد، وإن خير الصفوف المقدم، وشرها المؤخر، وخير صفوف النساء المؤخر، وشرها المقدم يا معشر النساء إذا سجد الرجال فاخفضن أبصار كن، لا ترين عورات الرجال من ضيق الأزر.
