The Prophet ﷺ said, "When one of you breaks his ablution during prayer, let him hold his nose and then leave."
قال النبي ﷺ: إذا أحدث أحدكم في صلاته فليأخذ بأنفه ثم لينصرف.
Abu Dawud (1114) and Ibn Majah (1222) both narrated it through the route of Hisham bin Urwa, from his father, from Ayesha. Its chain is sahih according to the criteria of the two Sheikhs, and Ibn Khuzayma (1019), Ibn Hibban (2238), and Hakim (1/184) graded it sahih, having narrated it from this same route. Hakim said, "It is sahih according to their criteria, though the two of them did not include it."
