Tabarani transmitted it in al-Kabir (12/372), al-Awsat (2/441), and al-Sagheer (1/45), through the route of Husayn bin Hurayth Marwazi, who said, Abu Muawiya Muhammad bin Khazim narrated to us, who said, Ubaydullah bin Umar narrated to us, from Nafi, from Ibn Umar, and he related the hadith. Ibn Hibban also transmitted it in his Sahih (1835) through this same route. Haythami said in Majma al-Zawaid (2703), Tabarani transmitted it in all three of his works, and "its narrators are the narrators of the sahih."I say, this is indeed so, but Daraqutni said, "It is unusual as a hadith of his from Nafi, no one supported him in it besides Abu Muawiya, and likewise Yahya bin Main narrated it from Abu Muawiya as a raised hadith" ["Atraf al-Gharaib" (3/467)]. Abu Muawiya is trustworthy, so his being the sole narrator does not weaken it. And in what Daraqutni said there is a refutation of Tabarani's claim that Husayn bin Hurayth alone transmitted it from Abu Muawiya.
