Abu Barza reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to delay the evening prayer until the first third of the night, and he disliked sleeping before it or engaging in conversation after it. In the dawn prayer he would recite between sixty and a hundred verses, and he would finish the prayer at the time when we could recognize one another's faces.
