Waail bin Hajar reported,

He said, "Let me observe how the Messenger of Allah ﷺ performs his prayer."He said, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood up and faced the qiblah, then said the takbir, raising his hands until they were level with his ears. Then he grasped his left hand with his right. When he wanted to bow, he raised them in the same way, then placed his hands on his knees. When he raised his head from the bowing, he raised them in the same manner. When he prostrated, he placed his head on the ground between his hands. Then he sat, spreading out his left foot beneath him, placing his left hand on his left thigh, and resting the edge of his right elbow on his right thigh. He folded two fingers and formed a ring, and I saw him doing it like this. Bishr formed a ring with his thumb and middle finger and pointed with his index finger.
