Malik bin Huwayrith reported,

We came to the Prophet ﷺ as a group of young men close in age, and we stayed with him for twenty days and nights. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was merciful and gentle. When he sensed that we had grown longing for our families, or that we had become homesick, he asked us about those we had left behind, and we told him.He said, "Return to your families, stay among them, teach them, and instruct them." He mentioned things, some of which I remember and some I do not. "Pray as you have seen me pray. When the time for prayer comes, let one of you call the adhan, and let the eldest among you lead the prayer."
