The prayer call had been given, when a man approached the Prophet ﷺ and detained him after the iqamah had been called.
أقيمت الصلاة، فعرض للنبي ﷺ رجل فحبسه بعد ما أقيمت الصلاة.
Bukhari narrated it in "Adhan" (643) and Muslim in "Menstruation" (376), and this hadith has already been mentioned in "Purification," the chapter on how a sitting person's sleep does not invalidate wudu.
