The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The caller to prayer is forgiven to the extent of his voice, and every moist and dry thing testifies on his behalf. Whoever attends the prayer has twenty-five prayers recorded for him, and what is between the two prayers is expiated for him."
قال رسول الله ﷺ: المؤذن يغفر له مدى صوته، ويشهد له كل رطب ويابس، وشاهد الصلاة يكتب له خمس وعشرون صلاة، ويكفر عنه ما بينهما.
Reported by Abu Dawud (515), and this is his wording, Nasai (645), and Ibn Majah (724), all of them through the hadith of Shubah, from Musa bin Abu Uthman, from Abu Yahya, who related it.Its chain is hasan because of Musa bin Abu Uthman, for a group of narrators reported from him and no one criticized him, and Ibn Hibban mentioned him in Thiqat, and it has a corroborating narration from the hadith of Ibn Umar that follows.
