I heard the Prophet ﷺ say, "When Satan hears the call to prayer, he flees until he reaches the place of ar-Rawha."Sulayman said, "I asked him about ar-Rawha, and he replied, 'It is thirty-six miles from Madinah.'"
سمعت النبي ﷺ قال: إن الشيطان إذا سمع النداء بالصلاة ذهب حتى يكون مكان الروحاء. قال سليمان: فسألته عن الروحاء؟ فقال: هي من المدينة ستة وثلاثون ميلا.
Muslim narrated it in the Book of Prayer (388), by way of Amash, from Abu Sufyan, from Jabir, and he mentioned something similar.Sulayman is Amash, and he is Sulayman bin Mihran Asadi. The one being asked about is Abu Sufyan, and he is Talha bin Nafi.
