Ibn Majah (681) narrated it, saying, Abdul-Rahman bin Umar told us, he said, Abdul-Wahhab Thaqafi told us, from Ubaydullah, from Nafi, from Ibn Umar, and he related the hadith. Ibn Khuzayma (330) narrated it through the route of Abdul-Wahhab Thaqafi with the same chain, with the wording, "The intensity of heat comes from the raging heat of Hell, so cool down before praying when the heat is intense."Busiri said in Zawaid Ibn Majah, its isnad is sahih, and Ibn Hibban narrated it in his Sahih through the route of Abdul-Wahhab. I say, that is what he said, but the correct attribution is that Ibn Khuzayma narrated it.It was mentioned earlier, in the hadith of Abu Hurairah as recorded by Bukhari, that he narrated it jointly with Ibn Umar, through the route of Salih bin Kaysan, who said, Araj Abdul-Rahman and others told us, from Abu Hurairah, and Nafi, the freedman of Abdullah bin Umar, from Abdullah bin Umar, that the two of them told him this from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and they related the hadith.
