Umm Salama bint Abu Umaya reported,

Some women used to attend the dawn prayer with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, then leave wrapped in their cloaks, unrecognizable in the lingering darkness. She said, "And whenever the Prophet ﷺ gave the closing salam, he would remain in his place for a short while," and they were of the view that this was so the women could leave before the men.
