I used to eat the predawn meal with my family, then I would hurry to catch the dawn prayer with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.
كنت أتسحر في أهلي، ثم يكون سرعة بي أن أدرك صلاة الفجر مع رسول الله ﷺ.
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Prayer Times (577) from Ismail bin Abu Uways, from his brother, from Sulayman, from Abu Hazim, who heard Sahl bin Saad say, and he mentioned the same. His statement, "from his brother," refers to Abu Bakr Abdul-Hameed, and Sulayman is Ibn Bilal.
