I heard Humran bin Abban relate to Abu Burdah in this mosque during the governorship of Bishr that Uthman bin Affan said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'Whoever performs ablution completely as Allah the Exalted has commanded, the prescribed prayers serve as expiations for what occurs between them.'"
سمعت حمران بن أبان يحدث أبا بردة في هذا المسجد في إمارة بشر أن عثمان بن عفان قال: قال رسول الله ﷺ: من أتم الوضوء كما أمره الله تعالى، فالصلوات المكتوبات كفارات لما بينهن.
