Talha bin Ubaydullah reported,

A man from the people of Najd came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ with disheveled hair. The murmur of his voice could be heard, but what he was saying could not be understood, until he drew near. It turned out he was asking about Islam. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Five prayers during the day and night."The man asked, "Is there anything else required of me?"He replied, "No, unless you do so voluntarily."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ continued, "And fasting in Ramadan."The man asked, "Is there anything else required of me?"He replied, "No, unless you do so voluntarily."Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ mentioned the zakat. The man asked, "Is there anything else required of me?"He replied, "No, unless you do so voluntarily."The man turned away saying, "By Allah, I will not add to this nor fall short of it."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "He has succeeded if he is truthful."
