The Prophet ﷺ said, "A group of people will come out of the Fire after it has scorched them, and they will enter Paradise. The people of Paradise will call them the Jahannamiyyin."In another wording, "A group of people will be touched by the scorching of the Fire as a punishment for sins they committed, then Allah will admit them into Paradise by the grace of His mercy, and they will be called the Jahannamiyyin."
عن النبي ﷺ قال: يخرج قوم من النار بعدما مسهم منها سفع فيدخلون الجنة، فيسميهم أهل الجنة الجهنميين. وفي لفظ: ليصيبن أقواما سفع من النار بذنوب أصابوها عقوبة، ثم يدخلهم الله الجنة بفضل رحمته، يقال لهم الجهنميون.
Bukhari narrated it in Riqaq (6559) from Hudba bin Khalid, who said, Hammam narrated to us, from Qatada, who said, Anas bin Malik narrated to us, and he mentioned it with the first wording.Bukhari also narrated it in Tawhid (7450) from Hafs bin Umar, who said, Hisham narrated to us, from Qatada, from him, with the second wording.
