Suwayd bin Numan reported,

He reported that he set out with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in the year of Khaybar. When they reached as-Sahba, which is on the outskirts of Khaybar, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ stopped and prayed the afternoon prayer. Then he called for provisions, but nothing was brought except parched barley meal. He ordered it to be moistened, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ate, and we ate with him. Then he rose for the sunset prayer, rinsed his mouth, and we rinsed our mouths as well. Then he prayed without performing ablution.
