The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Seventy thousand, or seven hundred thousand, of my nation will enter Paradise." Abu Hazim was uncertain which figure he mentioned. "They will hold on to one another, the first of them not entering until the last of them enters, their faces shining like the moon on the night of the full moon, the night of Badr."
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال: ليدخلن الجنة من أمتي سبعون ألفا، أو سبعمائة ألف- لا يدري أبو حازم أيهما قال- متماسكون آخذ بعضهم بعضا، لا يدخل أولهم حتى يدخل آخرهم، وجوههم على صورة القمر ليلة البدر.
Bukhari related it in the Book of Softening of Hearts (6554), and Muslim in the Book of Faith (219), both from Qutayba bin Saeed, who said, Abdul-Aziz, meaning Ibn Abu Hazim, narrated to us, from Abu Hazim, from Sahl bin Saad, and he related it.His saying, "or seven hundred thousand" - taking the certain figure, which is "seventy thousand," is preferable, and the other hadiths point to this. His saying, "holding onto one another" means each of them holding the hand of the other. They will enter in a single row, side by side with one another. This is explicit evidence of how vast the gate of Paradise is.
