The first group to be saved will have faces like the full moon on the night of Badr, seventy thousand of them, who will not be brought to account. Then those who follow them will be like the brightest star in the sky, then likewise, then intercession will be permitted. The hadith continues.
فتنجو أول زمرة وجوههم كالقمر ليلة البدر سبعون ألفا لا يحاسبون، ثم الذين يلونهم كأضوأ نجم في السماء، ثم كذلك، ثم تحل الشفاعة. الحديث.
Muslim narrated it in the Book of Faith (191) through several routes from Rawh bin Ubada Qaysi, who said, Ibn Jurayj told us, he said, Abu Zubayr told me that he heard Jabir bin Abdullah being asked about the coming to the water, and he mentioned it in a long hadith. This is how Muslim narrated it as a stopped report, but it carries the ruling of a raised report, since it is the kind of matter that cannot be said based on personal opinion. Ahmad narrated it (15115) from Rawh with this same chain as a raised report.
