The sun was eclipsed during the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. The narrator then mentioned the hadith about the eclipse prayer, in which it was reported that they said, "Messenger of Allah, we saw you reach out for something while standing in your place, and then we saw you draw back."He ﷺ replied, "I saw Paradise, and I reached out for a cluster of grapes. Had I taken it, you would have eaten from it for as long as the world remains." And the hadith continues.
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Eclipses (1052), and Muslim in the Book of Eclipses (907), both through the route of Zayd bin Aslam, from Ata bin Yasar, from Abdullah bin Abbas, who said, and he mentioned it in a long hadith.
