The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Abu Saeed, whoever is content with Allah as Lord, with Islam as religion, and with Muhammad as Prophet, Paradise becomes guaranteed for him."Abu Saeed was amazed by this and said, "Repeat it for me, Messenger of Allah."So he repeated it, then said, "And there is another deed by which Allah raises a servant a hundred ranks in Paradise, the distance between each two ranks being like the distance between the heavens and the earth."Abu Saeed asked, "What is it, Messenger of Allah?"He replied, "Jihad in the path of Allah, jihad in the path of Allah."
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال: يا أبا سعيد، من رضي بالله ربا، وبالإسلام دينا، وبمحمد نبيا، وجبت له الجنة، فعجب لها أبو سعيد، فقال: أعدها علي يا رسول الله، ففعل، ثم قال: وأخرى يرفع بها العبد مائة درجة في الجنة، ما بين كل درجتين كما بين السماء والأرض، قال: وما هي يا رسول الله؟ قال: الجهاد في سبيل الله، الجهاد في سبيل الله.
Muslim reported it in the Book of Governance (1884) from Saeed bin Mansur, who said, Abdullah bin Wahb narrated to us, Abu Hani Khawlani narrated to me, from Abu Abdul-Rahman Hubli, from Abu Saeed Khudri, and he related it.
