The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever fears sets out by night, and whoever sets out by night reaches his destination. Truly, the merchandise of Allah is precious. Truly, the merchandise of Allah is Paradise. The first blast has come, followed by the second, and death has arrived with all that it brings."
Hakim (4/308) and Abu Naeem in al-Hilyah (8/377) both narrated it through routes from Sufyan Thawri, from Abdullah bin Muhammad bin Aqeel, from Tufayl bin Abu bin Kaab, from his father, who said, then he mentioned it.Tirmidhi (2457), Ahmad (21241-21242), and Hakim (2/421) all narrated it through the route of Sufyan Thawri with the same chain, in abridged form. Its isnad is hasan because of Abdullah bin Muhammad bin Aqeel, for there is disagreement about him, though his hadith is hasan so long as his error is not shown.
