I came to the Prophet ﷺ, and he said in a long hadith, "Why do I find myself holding you back by your waist-belts from the Fire? Indeed my Lord will summon me and ask me, 'Have you conveyed the message to My servants?' I will say, 'My Lord, I have conveyed it to them.' So let those of you present convey it to those who are absent. Then you will be summoned with your mouths sealed shut, and the first part of any of you to speak will be his thigh and his palm."I asked, "Prophet of Allah, is this our religion?"He replied, "This is your religion, and wherever you do good, it will suffice you."
Ahmad narrated it (20043) from Ismail, who said, Bahz bin Hakeem told us, from his father, from his grandfather, and he mentioned it. Its chain is hasan because of Bahz and his father, for they are graded hasan in hadith, and his grandfather is Muawiya bin Hayda Qushayri, who was a companion. It was also narrated from Uqba bin Amir, that he heard the Prophet ﷺ say, "The first bone of a person that will speak on the day when the mouths are sealed is his left thigh." Ahmad narrated it (17374) from Hakam bin Nafi, who said, Ismail bin Ayyash told us, from Damdam bin Zura, from Shurayh bin Ubayd Hadrami, from someone who told him, from Uqba bin Amir, and he mentioned it. There is an unnamed narrator in the chain. And in his statement, "his left thigh," there is an oddity, since the unnamed man was alone in reporting it.
