Abu Saeed Khudri reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Nuh will be summoned on the Day of Resurrection, and he will say, 'Here I am at Your service, my Lord, ready to please You.'Allah will ask, "Did you deliver the message?"He will answer, "Yes."Then his people will be asked, "Did he deliver it to you?"They will say, "No warner ever came to us."Allah will ask him, "Who will testify for you?"He will say, "Muhammad and his community."So they will bear witness that he did deliver the message. "And thus We have made you a middle community" [Baqarah 2:143]. That is the meaning of His words, exalted be His remembrance, "And thus We have made you a middle community, that you may be witnesses over mankind and that the Messenger may be a witness over you" [Baqarah 2:143]. "Middle" here means just.In another wording, "On the Day of Resurrection a prophet will come with only one man beside him, and another prophet with two men, or a few more than that. His people will be summoned and asked, 'Did this man deliver the message to you?'They will say, "No."Then the prophet will be asked, "Did you deliver the message to your people?"He will say, "Yes."He will be asked, "Who will testify for you?"He will say, "Muhammad and his community."So Muhammad and his community will be summoned and asked, "Did this man deliver the message to his people?"They will say, "Yes."They will be asked, "How could you know that?"They will say, "Our Prophet came to us and told us that the messengers had delivered their messages."That is the meaning of His words, "And thus We have made you a middle community," meaning just, "that you may be witnesses over mankind and that the Messenger may be a witness over you" [Baqarah 2:143].

عن أبي سعيد الخدري قال

قال رسول الله ﷺ: يدعى نوح يوم القيامة، فيقول: لبيك وسعديك يا رب، فيقول: هل بلغت؟ فيقول: نعم، فيقال لأمته: هل بلغكم؟ فيقولون: ما أتانا من نذير، فيقول: من يشهد لك؟ فيقول: محمد وأمته، فيشهدون أنه قد بلغ: {وكذلك جعلناكم أمة وسطا} فذلك قوله جل ذكره: {وكذلك جعلناكم أمة وسطا لتكونوا شهداء على الناس ويكون الرسول عليكم شهيدا} [البقرة: ١٤٣]. والوسط: العدل. وفي لفظ: يجيء النبي يوم القيامة، ومعه الرجل، والنبي ومعه الرجلان، وأكثر من ذلك، فيدعى قومه، فيقال لهم: هل بلغكم هذا؟ فيقولون: لا فيقال له: هل بلغت قومك؟ فيقول: نعم. فيقال له: من يشهد لك؟ فيقول: محمد وأمته. فيدعى وأمته، فيقال لهم: هل بلغ هذا قومه؟ فيقولون: نعم. فيقال: وما عليكم؟ فيقولون: جاءنا نبينا، فأخبرنا أن الرسل قد بلغوا، فذلك قوله: {وكذلك جعلناكم أمة وسطا} قال: يقول: عدلا {لتكونوا شهداء على الناس ويكون الرسول عليكم شهيدا}
