The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The first blessing about which a servant will be questioned on the Day of Resurrection is that he will be asked, 'Did We not give you a healthy body and quench your thirst with cool water?'"
قال رسول الله ﷺ: إن أول ما يسأل عنه يوم القيامة- يعني العبد- من النعيم أن يقال له: ألم نصح لك جسمك، ونرويك من الماء البارد.
Narrated by Tirmidhi (3358), Bazzar (9408), and Abdullah bin Ahmad in Zawaid al-Zuhd (p. 31). Ibn Hibban (7364) and Hakim (4/138) both graded it sahih. All of them narrated it through Abdullah bin Ala bin Zabr, from Dahhak bin Abdul-Rahman bin Arzam, or Arzab, al-Ashari, who said, I heard Abu Hurairah say, then he mentioned it. Its isnad is sahih.Hakim said, "This is a hadith sahih in isnad." As for Tirmidhi, he said afterward, "This is a gharib hadith, and Dahhak is the son of Abdul-Rahman bin Arzab, though he is also said to be the son of Arzam, and Ibn Arzam is more correct." This is what he said. The men of its isnad are trustworthy, and it has been established that they heard from one another, so perhaps the reason he called it gharib is that this hadith is not narrated from the Prophet ﷺ except through this route. Bazzar indeed said, "We do not know of this statement being narrated from the Prophet ﷺ except through this route, from Abu Hurairah."I say, when a hadith of the Prophet ﷺ is sahih, it is proof in itself.
