Jabir bin Abdullah reported,
I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "My intercession on the Day of Resurrection is for those of my ummah who committed major sins."

Zia-ur-Rahman Azami
Ibn Majah (4310), Ibn Khuzayma in al-Tawhid (531), Ibn Hibban (6467), and Hakim (1/69) all narrated it through Zuhayr bin Muhammad, from Jafar bin Muhammad, from his father, from Jabir, who mentioned it. Its chain of transmission is sahih. Hakim said, "Sahih according to the criteria of Muslim." The discussion of it is elaborated in the book on faith.
