Muslim narrated it in the Book of Purification (240) from Salim bin Abdullah, the freed slave of Shaddad, who said, I went in to see Ayesha, the wife of the Prophet ﷺ, on the day Saad bin Abu Waqqas died, and Abdul-Rahman bin Abu Bakr came in and performed wudu in her presence. She said, "Abdul-Rahman, perform wudu thoroughly, for I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say..." and she mentioned the hadith.In another version, found in Ibn Majah (452) and Ahmad (24123), both by way of Ibn Ajlan, from Saeed bin Abu Saeed, from Abu Salama, who said, Ayesha saw Abdul-Rahman performing wudu and said, "Perform wudu thoroughly, for I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, 'Woe to the heels from the Fire.'"Ibn Ajlan is truthful (sadooq).The word "araqib" is the plural of "urqub." In a human being, the urqub is the thick tendon above the heel, and in an animal, it is the part of its hind leg corresponding to the knee in its foreleg. Mujam Wasit.
