Azami 16101

Narrated by Ahmad (11130) and Ibn Hibban (6826), both from the hadith of Abu Nadr Hashim bin Qasim, who said, Abu Muawiya Shayban bin Abdul-Rahman told us, from Matar bin Tahman Warraq, from Abu Siddiq Naji, from Abu Saeed Khudri, who related it. Its chain is hasan because of Matar bin Tahman Warraq, for there is disagreement about him, though his hadith is hasan as long as he does not bring something that is rejected. Abu Harun Abdi corroborated him, though he is discarded as a narrator.It was narrated by Ahmad (11665) and Hakim (4/558), both by way of Hammad bin Salama, from Abu Harun Abdi and Matar Warraq, from Abu Siddiq Naji, from Abu Saeed Khudri, who said, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The earth will be filled with tyranny and injustice, then a man from my progeny will emerge who will rule for seven or nine years and will fill the earth with fairness and justice."Ahmad (11123) also narrated it from Abdul-Samad, who said, Hammad bin Salama told us, Matar and Mualla informed us, from Abu Siddiq, from Abu Saeed, that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The earth will be filled with injustice and tyranny, then a man from my progeny will emerge who will rule for seven or nine years and will fill the earth with fairness and justice."Mualla is Ibn Ziyad Qardusi Mawali. Between him and Abu Siddiq Naji stands "Ala bin Bashir Muzani," for Hammad bin Salama and Jafar bin Sulayman both narrated it from Mualla bin Ziyad Mawali, from Ala bin Bashir Muzani, from Abu Siddiq, in this manner. Their hadith is found in Ahmad (11484, 11485) in a lengthy wording. Ala bin Bashir Muzani was narrated from solely by Mualla Mawali, and no one deemed him reliable except that Ibn Hibban mentioned him among the trustworthy narrators in his book.
