No one questioned the Prophet ﷺ about Dajjal as much as I did. He said to me, "What harm can he do to you?"I replied, "Because people say that he will have with him a mountain of bread and a river of water."He said, "He is more insignificant to Allah than that."
ما سأل أحد النبي ﷺ عن الدجال ما سألته، وإنه قال لي: ما يضرك منه؟ قلت: لأنهم يقولون إن معه جبل خبز ونهر ماء، قال: هو أهون على الله من ذلك.
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Tribulations (7122), and this is his wording, and Muslim narrated it in the Book of Tribulations and Signs of the Hour (2939), both of them through the route of Ismail bin Abu Khalid, who said, Qays bin Abu Hazim narrated to me, saying, Mughira bin Shuba said to me, and then he related it.In another narration found in Muslim, through a different route, "and with him were mountains of bread and meat..."
