The Prophet ﷺ said, "Before the Hour there will be transformations, swallowings of the earth, and showers of stones."
عن النبي ﷺ قال: بين يدي الساعة مسخ وخسف وقذف.
Ibn Majah (4059) and Bazzar (1457) both narrated it through the route of Abu Ahmad (that is, Zubayri), who said, "Bashir bin Salman narrated to us, from Sayyar, from Tariq, from Abdullah bin Masud," and he related it. Bazzar said, "We do not know this hadith to be narrated from Abdullah, from the Prophet ﷺ, except through this isnad." This is a hasan isnad because of Sayyar, for he is Abu Hamza Kufi, as Ahmad, Abu Dawud, Daraqutni, and others have said. He is among those from whom a number of narrators reported, and Ibn Hibban mentioned him in Ath-Thiqat (6/421). His hadith has a basis, so this hadith of his is graded hasan.
