The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The dwellings will reach Ihab or Yihab."Zuhayr said, "I asked Suhayl, 'How far is that from Madinah?' He replied, 'Such and such miles.'"
قال رسول الله ﷺ: تبلغ المساكن إهاب أو يهاب. قال زهير: قلت لسهيل: فكم ذلك من المدينة؟ قال: كذا وكذا ميلا.
Muslim narrated it in the Book of Tribulations (2903), from Amr Naqid, who said, Aswad bin Amir told us, Zuhayr told us, from Suhayl bin Abu Salih, from his father, from Abu Hurairah, who related it.This is how the built-up area of Madinah will expand and then fall into ruin at the end of time, as mentioned in the hadith that follows.
