The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The Furat is about to recede and uncover a treasure of gold. Whoever is present then should not take anything from it."In another narration, "It will recede and uncover a mountain of gold."
قال رسول الله ﷺ: يوشك الفرات أن يحسر عن كنز من ذهب، فمن حضره فلا يأخذ منه شيئا. وفي رواية: يحسر عن جبل من ذهب.
Bukhari narrated it in Fitan (7119), and Muslim in Fitan (2894:30), both through Uqba bin Khalid Sakuni, who said, Ubaydullah (that is, the son of Umar bin Hafs) narrated to us, from Khubayb bin Abdul-Rahman, from Hafs bin Asim, from Abu Hurairah, and he related it.As for the second narration, Bukhari narrated it (7119), and Muslim (2894:31), both through Uqba bin Khalid, from Ubaydullah, from Abu Zinad, from Abdul-Rahman Araj, from Abu Hurairah.
