The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The Hour will not come until tribes from my nation join the polytheists and until they worship idols. There will arise among my nation thirty liars, each claiming to be a prophet, but I am the Seal of the Prophets. There is no prophet after me."
قال رسول الله ﷺ: لا تقوم الساعة حتى تلحق قبائل من أمتي بالمشركين، وحتى يعبدوا الأوثان، وأنه سيكون في أمتي ثلاثون كذابون كلهم يزعم أنه نبي، وأنا خاتم النبيين، لا نبي بعدي.
Reported by Abu Dawud (4252), Tirmidhi (2219), and Ibn Majah (3952), and Ibn Hibban (7238) graded it sahih. All of them narrated it through Abu Qilaba, from Abu Asma, from Thawban, who mentioned it in the course of a long hadith, except that Tirmidhi confined himself at this point to the wording mentioned. Tirmidhi said, "This is a sahih hadith."
