The Prophet ﷺ said, "Hasten to do good deeds before six things appear: the Dajjal, the smoke, the beast of the earth, the sun rising from its place of setting, the affair that concerns everyone, and the private affair that concerns one of you individually."In another narration from him, "Hasten to do good deeds before six things: the sun rising from its place of setting, or the smoke, or the Dajjal, or the beast, or the private affair of one of you, or the affair that concerns everyone."
Muslim reported it in "Fitan and the Signs of the Hour" (2947:129) via Qatada, from Hasan, from Ziyad bin Riyah, from Abu Hurairah, mentioning it with the first wording. He also reported it (2947:128) via Ismail bin Jafar, from Ala, from his father, from Abu Hurairah, mentioning it with the second wording.
