The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "If your life is prolonged, you will soon see a people carrying in their hands what resembles the tails of cattle. They go out in the morning under the wrath of Allah and return in the evening under His displeasure."
قال رسول الله ﷺ: يوشك إن طالت بك مدة أن ترى قوما في أيديهم مثل أذناب البقر، يغدون في غضب الله ويروحون في سخط الله.
Muslim reported it in the Book of Paradise and Its Blessings (2857), from Ibn Numayr, who said, Zaid (that is, Ibn Habbab) narrated to us, Aflah bin Saeed narrated to us, Abdullah bin Rafi, the freed servant of Umm Salama, narrated to us, saying, I heard Abu Hurairah say, then he mentioned it.
