The Messenger of Allah ﷺ led us in the dawn prayer, then ascended the pulpit and addressed us until the time of the noon prayer arrived. He came down, prayed, then ascended the pulpit again and addressed us until the time of the afternoon prayer arrived. He came down, prayed, then ascended the pulpit and addressed us until the sun set. He informed us of what had been and what would be, and the most knowledgeable among us is the one who memorized the most of it.
Muslim narrated it in the book of Tribulations and Signs of the Hour (2892) through several chains from Abu Asim (that is, Dahhak bin Makhlad), who said, Azra bin Thabit told us, Ilba bin Ahmar told us, Abu Zayd, meaning Amr bin Akhtab, narrated to me, and he said, and he mentioned it.
