The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "A group from my nation will continue upholding the command of Allah, and those who oppose them will not harm them."In another wording, "A band of people will continue standing firm upon the truth in this matter. Those who oppose them will not harm them, until the decree of Allah comes while they remain in that state."
Ibn Majah (7) narrated it, as did Fasawi in al-Marifa wal-Tarikh (2/296–297). Both transmit it through Yahya bin Hamza, who said, Abu Alqama Nasr bin Alqama narrated to us, from Umayr bin Aswad and Kathir bin Mura Hadrami, from Abu Hurairah, and he related it. Its chain is hasan because of Abu Alqama Nasr bin Alqama, whom Duhaym deemed trustworthy, and whom Ibn Hibban mentioned in al-Thiqat, and no criticism of him is known.Ahmad (8484) narrated it, and Ibn Hibban (6835) graded it sahih, both through Layth bin Saad, from Muhammad bin Ajlan, from Qaqa bin Hakeem, from Abu Salih (that is, Zakwan Samman), from Abu Hurairah, with the second wording. This chain is likewise hasan because of Muhammad bin Ajlan, whose hadith is hasan. On this subject there is also a report from Abu Anba Khawlani, who had prayed toward both qiblahs with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, who said, I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "Allah continues to plant seedlings in this religion that He employs in His obedience."Ibn Majah (8) narrated it, as did Ahmad (17787), and Ibn Hibban (326) graded it sahih, all through Jarra bin Mulayh, who said, Bakr bin Zuraa narrated to us, saying, I heard Abu Anba Khawlani, and he related it. I have not found anyone who deemed Bakr bin Zuraa trustworthy except that Ibn Hibban mentioned him among his trustworthy narrators, which is why Ibn Hajar said in al-Taqrib, "Acceptable," meaning when corroborated, and I have not found any corroborating narrator for him. As for Busiri, he graded its chain as sahih relying on Ibn Hibban's assessment of his trustworthiness.
