The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "All of my nation will enter Paradise except those who refuse."They asked, "Messenger of Allah, who would refuse?"He replied, "Whoever obeys me will enter Paradise, and whoever disobeys me has refused."
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال: كل أمتي يدخلون الجنة إلا من أبى. قالوا: يا رسول الله، ومن يأبى؟ قال: من أطاعني دخل الجنة، ومن عصاني فقد أبى.
Bukhari narrated it in the book of Itisam (7280) from Muhammad bin Sinan, who said, "Fulayh narrated to us, Hilal bin Ali narrated to us, from Ata bin Yasar, from Abu Hurairah," and he related it.Similar in meaning is what was narrated from Abu Saeed Khudri, who said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'By the One in whose hand is my soul, all of you will enter Paradise except one who refuses and runs away from Allah like a camel running away.'" They said, "O Messenger of Allah, who would refuse to enter Paradise?" He said, "Whoever obeys me enters Paradise, and whoever disobeys me has refused."Ibn Hibban narrated it (17), Tabarani in Awsat (812), and Ibn Adi in Kamil (3/932–933), through several routes from Khalaf bin Khalifa, from Ala bin Musayab, from his father, from Abu Saeed Khudri, and he related it.Tabarani said, "No one narrated this hadith from Ala bin Musayab except Khalaf bin Khalifa."I say, Khalaf bin Khalifa's memory became confused before his death, and Ibn Adi cited this hadith in his biographical entry on him.
