Umayma bint Raqiqa came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ to pledge allegiance to him in Islam.He said, "I take your pledge that you will not associate anything with Allah, that you will not steal, that you will not commit adultery, that you will not kill your child, that you will not bring forth a slander you have fabricated between your hands and feet, that you will not wail in mourning, and that you will not display yourselves as women did in the former days of ignorance."
جاءت أميمة بنت رقيقة إلى رسول الله ﷺ تبايعه على الإسلام فقال: أبايعك على أن لا تشركي بالله شيئا، ولا تسرقي، ولا تزني، ولا تقتلي ولدك، ولا تأتي ببهتان تفترينه بين يديك ورجليك، ولا تنوحي، ولا تبرجي تبرج الجاهلية الأولى.
Ahmad narrated it (6850) from Khalaf bin Walid, who said, Ibn Ayyash narrated to us, from Sulayman bin Sulaym, from Amr bin Shuayb, from his father, from his grandfather, who said, and then he related it. Its chain is hasan because of Ibn Ayyash, who is Ismail, and his narration from the people of his homeland, the Syrians, is sound, and this narration is one of those.
