The Prophet ﷺ forbade us seven things. He forbade us gold rings, or he said gold bands, silk, brocade, fine silk fabric, red saddle cushions, qassi cloth, and silver vessels.
نهانا النبي ﷺ عن سبع: نهانا عن خاتم الذهب أو قال: حلقة الذهب، وعن الحرير، والإستبرق، والديباج، والميثرة الحمراء، والقسي، وآنية الفضة.
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Clothing (5863), and Muslim in the Book of Clothing and Adornment (2066), both through the route of Shubah, who said, Ashath bin Salim narrated to us, he said, I heard Muawiya bin Suwayd bin Muqarin say, I heard Bara bin Azib say, then he mentioned it.
