The Prophet ﷺ said, "The wearing of silk and gold has been made lawful for the women of my nation and forbidden to its men."
عن النبي ﷺ قال: أحل لبس الحرير والذهب لنساء أمتي، وحرم على ذكورها.
Narrated by Tirmidhi (1720), Nasai (5265), Ahmad (19645), and Bayhaqi (4/425), all of them from the hadith of Ubaydullah, who said, Nafi told me, from Saeed bin Abu Hind, from Abu Musa, and he mentioned it. Its chain of transmission is sahih. Tirmidhi said, "The hadith of Abu Musa is hasan sahih."
