The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever is offered sweet basil should not refuse it, for it is light to carry and pleasant in fragrance."
قال رسول الله ﷺ: من عرض عليه ريحان فلا يرده، فإنه خفيف المحمل طيب الريح.
Muslim narrated it in the section on expressions from the Book of Manners (2253), by way of Abu Abdul-Rahman Muqri, from Saeed bin Abu Ayub, who said, Ubaydullah bin Abu Jafar narrated to me, from Abdul-Rahman Araj, from Abu Hurairah, and he mentioned it.
