The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Do not pluck out gray hair, for it is a light on the Day of Resurrection. Whoever grows a single gray hair in Islam will have a good deed recorded for him because of it, a sin erased from him because of it, and a rank raised for him because of it."
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال: لا تنتفوا الشيب؛ فإنه نور يوم القيامة، ومن شاب شيبة في الإسلام، كتب له بها حسنة، وحط عنه بها خطيئة، ورفع له بها درجة.
Ibn Hibban (2985) narrated it from Ahmad bin Ali bin Muthanna, who said, Ibrahim bin Hajjaj Sami told us, who said, Hammad bin Salama told us, from Muhammad bin Amr, from Abu Salama, from Abu Hurairah, and he related it.Its chain is hasan because of Muhammad bin Amr, who is Ibn Alqama, for he is hasan al-hadith.
